So the reason why I'm selling it, among MANY other numerous car audio stuff and an 18ft 12,400lb towing capacity car hauler, trailer with built in sliding ramps and built like a tank if anyone is interested, is because I got laid off and I need money till I get a new job. Never returned it for the Pioneer, which I previously did demo the Pioneer unit. Works great! After I figured out how to work the new JVC platform, I fell in love with it. He said the JVC has Nav Live Traffic built in and it was free. He told me with Pioneer units, I would have to buy a separate external brain unit for like, $200 I believe. He asked me one simple question which was, "How much does it matter if you want Live Traffic on my Navigation?" Being from Dallas with some of the most congested highways in the U.S. I was going for the Pioneer AVIC-Z140BT at the time, but the guy talked me into the JVC unit, (I have only owned a Pioneer units in 12 years and glad he talked me into it.) He offered that if I didn't like it, for me to return it, he would sell me the Pioneer unit for the same price. Its their flagship model JVC KW-NT800HDT. JVC replaced it for FREE even though it was in a rollover accident! Talk about top notch customer service. Has anyone swapped out a burnt out ECU from a 2004 from a junkyard 2005-2010 ECU? Any issues from a 2004 to a 2005 ECU? The Armada hasn't changed, except cosmetically, since 2008, so I can't see why not.Īlso, I'm selling my 3 month old New (busted up my previous unit from a rollover accident in my Sierra) and still haven't installed my 5200wrms stereo yet. Would I have issues with the VIN Number being an issue? I wouldn't think it would. So I can't see why if I changed my 2004 ECU for a 2005 ECU, with the given options I have such as 10-Way dual electric seats, Power Heated Mirrors, etc. So as you can see, I really want this thing. AND -/+ 2* TIMING ADVANCE! Plus it can make so many tuning and setting options like tire size speedometer correction for my bigger tires and plan on getting the 6" lift and put on some 35's, speed limiter governor (which I don't really need since I have such big tires and 116mph is fast enough for the truck,) HP, Torque, Ability to run 91 octane for better gas mileage, HP and Torque, Transmission Tuning and one of my favorite options, Rev Limiter Adjustments AND AUTO DOOR LOCK! Same for the Titan Gives 15-20hp on 87 Octane and 25-30hp on 91 Octane. The Tuner works on 2005+ Armada's only for some reason. I'm currently getting 15mpg on highway and need every bit of fuel economy as needed. I was originally going to just get the BullyDog Monitor to monitor my Instant MPG, Trip Average MPG, Instant GT, give me a grade level (such as A+,-A, B+, B, etc.) wasted energy gauge to Economy Bar, speed (I have 33.44" MT's, RPM, and much more as it has a Driving Coach as I'm trying to find the sweet spot for my gas mileage. Hey guys, I have had my eyes set on the BullyDog Triple GT Tuner.
